On the front in blue enamel the Crucifixion; on the back in green enamel, the mystie Lamb. Both gilded and surrounded by elaborate frames of chiselled silver with exquisite compositions of deer and birds amongst archaie foliations. The box surmounted by a gilded bail with trilobar ring which controls the opening device.
